Listen close, secrets are bound tightly within
but they are there if you care, to hear and don't fear
I am alone with my creations, or are they alone with me?
I am oft reluctant to set them free, or is it they who fear thee?

Contorted distortions and developed mutations
Breathing and tactile, deformed to beguile
If you enter with an open mind, and stay the whole while
The fabric of reality becomes a tactile textile

Peer in through the window of each chapter to reveal
more insight into the meaning of their existence
It helped me understand more about my own
and maybe it can help you in your quest to understand the self.

OWLISM - Owl's Weird Live Improvised Synth Meanderings

The sounds were recorded in one day; October 20th 2023; on Arturia Minilab mkII synth through Reaper and a host of plug-ins and effects, with only a little bit of extra EQ and a few layers on the closing track.

They were part of my practice for a solo synth-only gig in Ostrava on October 28th 2023; (the first time I ever played live in this way).

Many thanks to Neal and Volker at Bromtol Largesse for releasing this album and generally for tons of interesting, weird, challenging, fun sounds on their label over the last few years. I am very pleased to be included amongst their discography.
