(english below) Als Ihr mir angeboten habt, eine 3-way split zu machen, war mir gleich klar, wen ich als erstes fragen würde: Dieter Mauson aka Occupied Head. Ich hatte ihn mal auf dem 4. Festival für Ungewohnte Musik, bei fem ich auch gespielt habe, live erlebt und war fasziniert. Im letzten Jahr dann hatte ich das ganz große Glück, im Trio mit Sascha Stadlmeier und Occupied Head zu spielen, auf dem re: flections sound-art Festival in Augsburg... anschließend haben wir ausgemacht, zusammen ein Album aufzunehmen. Das ist schon seit Längerem fertig, und wartet nur darauf, veröffentlicht zu werden.

Auf der Suche nach einem 3. Musiker fiel mir spontan Hans Castrup ein, mit dem ich auch schon zusammengearbeitet habe. Seine Musik ist eine wunderbare Erganzung zu den beiden anderen tracks, und macht diese 3-way split zu einem runden Ganzen.

When you offered me to do a 3-way split, it was immediately clear to me who I would ask first: Dieter Mauson aka Occupied Head. I had seen him live at the 4th Festival for Unfamiliar Music, where I also played, and was fascinated. Last year I was very lucky to play in a trio with Sascha Stadlmeier and Occupied Head at the re: flections sound-art festival in Augsburg ... then we agreed to record an album together. This was done a long time ago and is just waiting to be published.

When I was looking for a third musician, I spontaneously thought of Hans Castrup, with whom I have already worked. His music is a wonderful addition to the other two tracks, and makes this 3-way split into a complete whole.
